If you have followed me over the last year you will know that I am now creating art from a new space having moved house. Although I have only moved next door the new views and proximity to the outdoors (I am in a posh shed) has meant that I have a renewed fervency for creating landscapes and the ability to make a mess in my own space has been liberating!
It hasn't been without it's pitfalls as the winter months have been challenging but with enough layers and a heater to keep me warm I have managed to start some studies for a new body of work which I aim to exhibit throughout the year.
My upcoming exhibiting opportunities may interest those that appreciate the natural world and uplifting visual experiences. I will be in good company as my first Exhibition will be with the Association of Animal Artists which opens on the 29th April at the fantastic gallery at Weston Park!
This will then be followed by another exciting collaboration with the Clonterbrook Creatives, a local all female group of professional artists who are currently exhibiting under the banner The Northern Girls in Macclesfield.
The Spring Exhibition will be returning to Clonterbrook Gallery, which was the talk of the town for our last exhibition as we had a power cut literally 5 minutes before the preview opened. Needless to say, viewing artwork by candlelight was an experience never to be forgotten so we will have to think of a way to top that!
I have started to add the Limited Edition prints that I have released ready for you to purchase and pop into a frame of your choice. Perfect for accents of colour to bring some cheer to your home. You can buy them here. They are delivered signed with a certificate of authenticity and are only available in edition of 50 so hurry. Printed professionally using acid free archival paper using giclee inks they are the perfect affordable way to enjoy your favourite art.
Thanks for reading this far!
If you would like to send a splash of colour in your inbox to cheer you up please sign up to my newsletter. I have changed my website provider so even if you signed up previously please do so again. It goes without saying that unless you add me to your address book I may end up in spam - something I haven't done since the 70's (if you remember the 70's you'll know!)
Best Wishes
Alison
