Little White House, St Mary's

I am thrilled to be able to offer one of my favourite paintings at a great discounted price in order to make room for new work! This is a great opportunity to take advantage of my studio clearance sale and work is offered on a first come, first served basis! Once it's gone it's gone!

This vibrant landscape scene is painted using professional quality acrylics and was inspired by the little white cottages that can be found at the largest of the Scilly Isles, on St Mary's.

It is magical place where I learnt to breathe again, and take time to just be. Known for it's natural beauty, where the boundaries between the ordinary and the extraordinary seem to blur. It is a place where I felt intimately connected to the elements, and the rugged cliffs, sandy beaches and crystal blue sea contrasted with the ever changing weather patterns, reminding you of the raw power and beauty of nature.

The colours that I used reflect the energy that I felt on one of my solo walks around the island and painted from sketches that I made whilst I was there.
