Saturday OCTOBER 25th

Hours: 10am - 2pm

This workshop is perfect for those who want to learn about the different qualities of Acrylics and how they can be used alongside other mediums to create interest.

Beginners welcome

We will be painting a beautiful rural scene including a Horse Chestnut tree in full bloom, a golden field with distant trees and learn how to use suggestive marks to create an interesting foreground.

We will spend time choosing and mixing colours that evoke the mood we are trying to express, learning about the most effective composition to guide the viewer through your painting. We will also be exploring different techniques to create visual interest and depth to your paintings.

All materials provided but you are welcome to bring your own if you have something you would like to try out.
