Inspired by an early spring morning in a dappled glade of beautiful yellow daffodils, where the tree canopy casts a blue green shadow.
I have used subtle shifts of hue to create the feeling of cool and warm throughout the painting and experimented with marks to bring depth and interest.
Painted with acrylics and varnished to protect the surface, the painting continues around the edges meaning that it can be hung with or without the frame.
Measuring 50×40cm and presented in a contemporary white frame.
